Interesting, I don't really get spicy from L'HB at all. Anise is a spice, but I don't think of it in terms of a spice. Maybe I'm alone in that?
I find that along with the anise there a light touches of cinnamon and ginger. Only very slight though.I always thought I was in alone in thinking that L'HB wasn't a melancholic scent.
I think it's more ethereal than melancholic, although some would probably say they're related. Not me, though.
